Conduct data collection and analysis to identify and enhance the capacity of nonprofits. Do research and benchmarking for nonprofit strategic plans so they can achieve greater impact in an intentional and sustainable manner. Project manage, coordinate, and handle communications with our clients to ensure we understand their unique needs.
Provided oversight to summer program teaching 25 inner-city Boston teenagers media literacy, filmmaking, storytelling, and college preparedness. Guided and mentored students in the areas of home, school, and career aspirations.
Worked in collaboration with Boston University's Yawkey Nonprofit Program Scholarship.
Researched, developed, and produced short documentary on the role of women in Syrian civil society. Filmed and edited events and interviews with MEI scholars. Managed social media and maintained website. Curated and circulated weekly MEI newsletters to thousands of subscribers.
Researched and wrote global stories for the Reuters Foundation blog, www.trust.org, about climate change and women’s empowerment issues. Covered London Fashion Week and emerging trends in eco-friendly clothing.
