SINCE 2017, PRIYA HAS ENGAGED IN ART DIRECTION FOR VARIOUS PROJECTS FROM PRE-PRODUCTION TO POST-PRODUCTION, CREATIVE WRITING, STORYBOARDING, AND MORE.

Since childhood, Priya has had a passion for utilizing the transformative power of art in strategic ways to tell stories, build connections, and offer visibility. Upon graduating, she began working in social impact consulting and found that without a visually creative outlet, she felt incomplete. Through her founding of SPICY, a creative collective working at the intersection of arts, organizing, and publishing, she began to experiment with visual art direction. She has since worked primarily on photoshoots, seeing the projects through from pre-production to post-production, touching on every aspect of the project from sourcing talent, vision boarding, directing shoots, styling, and more. In addition, she has worked on music videos developing treatments, storyboarding, producing, and ultimately assisting in telling the visual story as accurately as possible.
